How good is the Apexi Base map??

I have the later spec Apexi PFC for my year of car.

Just wondering how good the base map is?

I have a UK car with pre-cat, straight through mid-pipe, HKS backbox, blitz filters and FMIC.

I\'ve been told the base map should handle the above fine?

While my engine is out, I\'m thinking I might as well put a different DP on. Would it handle this also? Or would it be a big no, no.

Obviosly, I would be getting it re-mapped soonyish.

Should be OK, but you would need a remap fairly soon........ & dont go giving it any till it\'s mapped!!

Full decat
Induction kit
Monster V-Mount
Air pump removed
Shorter custom turbo pipes

Yeah...  I\'ll just potter about until I get a remap. No go go pedal.

well i fitted mine and under 3k you`ll be fine, i drove 240 miles down to pips, just means the car will overfuel a bit, not a bad thing,..

you`l find its maped to jap fuel 2 so you`l have high knock with are petrol so dont go boosting.. 3k max bud,.. mark at the garage in wishaw will map it for you if you cant get to pips,..

marks maped 8 rex`s now, he was guna do mine but wanted a comp test n check over before i sold it..youl just boost up to 3k lol.. but only boost to 0.4bar max with vpower just to keep it safe.. tiz what pip told me to do
