Im sorry if this offends anyone who is one but how f***ing hard is it to find one who actually shows up let alone does what there suppose to??

I\'ve been importing cars now for over 10 years in which time i\'ve not found one decent one!  I\'ve took the day off work especially today to have a rear fog and electronic speedo convertor fitted to my rx7.  I booked a guy who come recommended to me over a week ago who promised be here at 9am this morning.......

9am come and went, 9:30am come and went, 10am come and went, 10:30 come and went, so I rang him. :2Mad

Oh suprise suprise he\'s on another job somewhere, gave me a load of excuses how he was pushed for time and ordered wrong parts for some job he was working on... like thats my problem??  No apology or anything, then said i\'ll try and see if I can make it later today....... Oh gee thanks, how kind of you! :2Confused :2Rolleyes :Grrr

I wouldnt mind, if he\'d rang up last night and said listen im really pushed so I wont be able to make it, or if he\'d of phoned this morning.... but just to leave people waiting round, especially seeing now i\'ve lost a days pay at work. :Grrr :Grrr

I dont know what it is about auto electricians but after 10 years i think there either, mythical characters or just **** takers...... :Grrr

Not happy in the slightest. :Grrr

You want to try plumbers and electricians, mate!

Took a pair of cowboys 4 months to eventually turn up to install an under-floor heating system in our new conservatory. And then the electrics weren\'t completed because the plumber "don\'t know electrics / not qualified" etc., and the electrician "I\'m not a plumber, and can\'t read these circuit diagrams" before storming off the project

I eventually got my usual trusty, and fully qualified, "Heating Engineer" in who fixed up the job in a couple of hours, and then pointed out the mistakes the original plumber had made with the simple pipe-work :Grrr

Only reason I didn\'t get him in in the first place was because he was too busy in January (whem the conservatory was constructed) to do the job; little did I know I\'d be waiting till April for the cowboys to \'co-ordinate\' themselves to be there on one day, together!

I\'m going to fit one to mine soon and am putting aside a whole day to fight with getting the dash off  :D

most cars are remove the surround, few screws then a few more to take out the clocks, pull out the clocks n disconnect the plugs, then cut into the correct wires n pop in the chip.. hardest 1 iv done took 30ish mins on a 96 integra type r as the speedo cable is on the engine block.. real pig to get at lol
