Would an FD fuel pump be a straight swap for the FC pump?:Thumbs-up

I replaced my FD pump and have saved it for the FC (If I ever get round to it! :o )

Brett

Cool :D

How many more LPH is the FD one over an FC one then?

not a great deal to be honest - i think its only about 20 LPH more - but its 20 litres at the end of the day :D

i think its about 50 bhp worth
400 BHP - 650 KG\'s = 616 BHP Per Ton of Rotary Power

That\'s the way to do it! :Thumbsup!

It\'s between a Walboro\' and an FC pump.  May also be worth rewiring the pump - the voltages on the stocker are shockingly low some times (and I don\'t mean when the resistor is in circuit - the full on voltage (under load and starting) should be 12+ but is often 1 or 2 volts lower because the stock wiring is so thin and the contacts aged.

Well I will be relocating the battery to the boot at some point, so might as well rewire the pump and the relay at the same time...

Check out the 1300cc.com website for the rewire as well - I got my instructions from there - might actually get round to finishing it soon ! ;)

Got all the new wires laid in, just never got around to moving the relay unit itself - although it\'s undone now, so I could get the broken light out !

Moving the relay frees up room for a cold air box too, and with the light out, I may see if I can route some ducting in there.

Accident may have been a blessing in disguise - can fix my leeky washer bottle, rewire the headlights with decent connectors, get the corroded fog lights out and refurb them and make little plates for them to go on. Also chance to get into that loom at the front and fix the headlight washer feed.
