Quick Question Reguarding Filters.

Hi guys this is a simple question, (i hope) im currently running a Knightsports 4beat ECU (dont know what its been mapped to) at the moment i have a standard airbox and im thinking of going to maybe filters or an ARC box\'s is this suicidal for the engine or would it be safe to do this?

As i understand it, it\'s more or less suicidal running that ECU full stop! It\'s due to the fuel these ecu\'s are mapped to: 100 or 102 RON fuel in Japan. Best we have is tesco\'s 99 RON, or super unleaded at 97/98 RON.
