Some painting advice please...

I\'m looking to paint my front strut brace.

Wanting it black with the Rx7 writing in chrome/silver.

What would be the best way to go about doing this chaps? Never really painted anything before, so any advice welcome!

Sprayed mine met blue when i did my graphics, removed the badge 1st then riveted it back on when painted.
