By the sound of it I think my verdict earlyer is spot on, as one way the clutch plate has the clutch friction plate to the flywheel & the wrong way the centre spline presses against the flywheel........ which is why you got a metal grinding noise when you pressed the clutch & break together!!!

your right Jono. this is easy to spot when you fit to flywheel but easy missed when fitting this way. Phil

So... the box is on the ground, and the clutch is of, and the clutch friction plate was mounted the wrong way..

So I\'ll be killing a good friend of mine within the next week :P

But...

One of the bolts to the clutch had destroyed the hole (not sure what the word is, but where you screw the bolt onto the flywheel) so I can\'t do anything before I get my lightened flywheel, and It should have been here about 2 weeks ago...

I\'ll get some pictures up later tonight, as I need to get some advice about the part of the center on the clutch friction plate that has been grinding onto the clutch housing... From what I could tell It wouldn\'t have anything t say, but I\'m not exactly an expert on the subject, so I was hoping you could help me...

Morten.

Here is a pic of the damage on the flywheel.

And does this have anything to say when I reinstall the clutch?
