Some of you may know I have a new block coming for my car.

I don\'t think I\'m gonna go along the "rebuild the new block" idea. It should last another 30K miles or so, so it "should" be ok.

Just wondering what else I should upgrade/replace while it\'s all out??

Obvious ones for me are...

Uprated Radiator
Uprated thermostat

Any other things I should look to replace or do while it\'s all out anyway?

cheers for advice!

Yeah... I\'m doing all the vac lines etc while it\'s out. It makes sense to do any other hoses I find that are past their sell by dates. :)

Get your radiator checked and professionally flushed.
Check all the hidden wiring for any damage.

What do you mean by \'uprated thermostat\'!? Just a standard one will do you fine. You\'re kidding yourself if you mean one that opens at a lower temp, as with all engines, they are designed to run at an optimal temperature, which is between 81-100(ish) degrees C
