Does anyone know the RZ disc sizes, mine are bigger than 294mm, more like 330mm. ?

John Yorke

Front rotors are afair 320. HTH

Thanks John. Are the calipers bigger than standard too?

John Yorke

Nope, just a bigger surface area to lose the heat.

Any idea where I can get replacements from? I can only find the standard size.

Thanks. Do any other manufacturer discs fit? I know I need 5 holes, but is there a standard fitting?  Would be good to have the option of 320mm drilled or slotted.

I think the big disks are 314mm...and they cost a fortune.

The RZ uses the 314mm discs on the front and rear like the newer FDs.

Gary at Rotaryart above can supply Endless rotors which are very good indeed, you can get the \'Basic \'which has no vanes or the \'Super Disc rotor\' which does, if you want something really good you could go for floating rotors which are called \'Disc rotor racing\'.

Thanks for the info. I have also seen some Dixcel rotors on the Crescent auction site for 17" FD3S wheels. Better check the piggy bank!!

I have just replaced the front discs on my RZ for the first time in 5 years of ownership....was expecting a nasty price but they definitely hurt my wallet!!

They are 330mm for sure, it said so on the Mazda sticker on the side of the boxes.  RE:Worx supplied them, think they were £150 plus VAT each...

They rears, which need replacing soon, cost £190 each! They are also larger. The calipers are the same all round, so accept the normal pads. Guess the mounts must be different. They discs won\'t fit under 16\'s, they are close to my 17\'s as it is...
