Hi

I have a first Gen and have been looking at an Elford turbo kit.

Does anyone know how easy they are to fit and if you can use them on standard 12A engine?

thanks

there is one for sale on ebay at the mo,  elford fitted it to the standard engine,  fairly easy to fit if you get everything, you will need to fit an oil return from the turbo to your sump. You will have to attach your exhaust to the turbo. There are a couple of preesure switches on an elford, one controls the ignition retard on boost.  Speak to Tim at RX motors, he may have some bits or he may have a 12 a turbo engine from japan, this was EFI\'d rather thann the SU carb on the elford.
400 BHP - 650 KG\'s = 616 BHP Per Ton of Rotary Power

That\'s the way to do it! :Thumbsup!
