High level Brake Light

Changed the plastic lens between the rear clusters this weekend and noticed that it contains a 3rd brake light which is not wired up. Does anyone know why this is and how to correctly run a connector to it?

odd that it\'s not connected, mines ok and it\'s also wired up as the foglight.

Fraid i know nothing about wiring though!

mines a UK car - thats probably why. i\'m assuming yours is a jap import from the square numberplate, i thing the high level brake was law there before it was here
