Yesterday I drove to work and my speedo was working fine.

On the way home, I noticed it was working at all. Also its not putting any miles on the clock either.

I\'ve had a look at the speed on my Apexi Commander and that\'s showing nothing to.

Any ideas, has something come loose?

Gotta be a wheel speed sensor (aka ABS sensor)... But I don\'t know what wheel they take the speed from?
Montego Blue 94 R2 FD3S... Bling not included.

You dont say what vehicle it is you have ?

If the speedo isnt working, the mileage wont go up ;)

I have an FD.

I thought it had to be something like that because if it was just the gauge then the Apexi would show the speed, wouldn\'t it.

I\'ll add that to my list of replacement parts I need then....

Hi
This happpend to me in the past
first thing is have you had one of those milage converter things fitted.
If so then check the back of the gauge as mine has came loose in the past.

Cheers

I\'m now thinking it could possibly be the speedo converter, because yesterday, the speedo randomly flicked on.

It\'s been reading incorrectly for a while anyway, the speedo wasn\'t showing the right speed but the odometer seemed to be going up in miles.

Have you checked the the Vehicle Speed Sensor Itself? I think it\'s mounted on the gearbox, sends the speed data to the ECU and Speedo.

Maybe have a look at the service manuals.

I think the speed is derived from the 4 ABS sensors, does the ABS still work?
