Headlight problem

My drivers side headlight is giving me a headache.
 
It usually doesn\'t pop up, until I "help" it a bit.
And when it pops down, it stays opened about an inch, until I give it a slight nudge again.
 
I already tried adjusting the headlight cover, as it\'s an aftermarket item, but even with the cover off, it still has problems opening and closing.
 
What can I do to fix it?

Just change the motor, cheap fix at around £20 for a good used item.
