I was getting some cable to re-route my grounding cable back to the engine bay to try and improve my battery life. The guy at the car audio shop where i got my 1 gauge cale (they didn\'t have any 2 gauge in stock) was taking about a gizmo he had supplied to a guy with a racecar. Thought i\'d look it up and ask about it.

Basically it smooths out your voltage from the main supply and you can set what voltage the car always sees. I would have thought this was a very good idea because you should get a more controllable spark from this kind of supply.

The big question is weather anybody has ever used one on a FD ? The capacity is only 100amp and the main fuse is 125 on the FD so would it be strong enough ?
