Thanks Garith,

Left a message to call back, most places don\'t do them becase the seals are
very difficult.

I have found one place that guarantees the seals on 3 piece rims though called Pristine in Milton Keynes, as expected about 250 - 300 per corner.

Pristine quoted me between £800 & £1,000 with little in the way of guarantee.
I started with nothing and I have most of it left

These are pretty good to, and quick turn around. Only problem is that you\'d have to get the wheels split 1st.

Dave,

This company used to be called fatwheels and specialised in split rim repairs, looks like they have been taken  over by a franchise -smart repair, however they are still advertising split rim repairs so you might be in luck!

I\'ve had my wheels done recently at Wicked Wheels and I always thought mine were 3 piece..

Took I think 13 weeks in total (some complications) but when done were gorgeous. I guess I may have put them off ever agreeing to do 3 piece again...

Are these only 2 piece then? How do you tell??

Can\'t post as not a full member, but link to FDUK here:

There\'s some before/after pics on there too, to give you an idea of quality & price.

If there Blitz Technospeeds there pretty easy to refurbish. I did mine with a little bit of elbow grease. The rims aren\'t 3 piece as the outer rim is welded to the inner then it has a thin bead of silicon in the grove between the two parts. You\'ll need to buy some 12 spline bits to remove the bolts, I think the bits I brought are Stanley\'s. I wouldn\'t reuse the old bolts as the ones on mine stretched as I was torquing them up. So I had to buy a new set from Image wheels which are a perfect fit. There also forged so a lot stronger than the original blitz bolts.

I didn\'t get the rims repolished on mine as the lacquer lifts if you get a chip in it. So I just had mine sprayed in a bright sliver. Which is a lot easier to look after compared to the polished rim.

The price of getting them professional done is going to be 200-300 quid per rim. Which is a lot if you ask me, as there not as hard to do as all the wheel refurb places make out. Mine cost me about  300 quid all in. But it would be a lot cheaper if you sprayed/polished them up yourself. I paid 160 for just the rims to be painted. Which I wish I had done myself, as the finish wasn\'t as good as was hoping for.

The best thing about doing them yourself is if you kerb them. You can just take them apart and make them look like new again.

I did 160mph in Germany on my refurbs and they didn\'t disintegrate and also hit a kerb at about 15mph which made a nice dent in them. But that was easy to sort out and only took me couple of hours and now the rims are back on and looking great again. Cost me nothing.
