Best clamps to use are "Mikalor"   They are the daddy\'s when it comes to keeping hoses in place as they give an even pressure around the hose and also dont nip the hose.

Tweeks sell these 01978 663 014 and chat to Martin

It wasnt a dig about spelling the english language - if some one wanted to search for them it would be easier if the brand name you meant was spelt right, eh?

Jees :-/

(Deleted the rest as it made no sense at all after i accidentally used edit instead of reply /sigh - since when could u edit your posts hours later btw? I thought it had been prevented? Oh - and Atomic - if u checked my post within 30 seconds of it being posted u would have seen I\'d corrected my typo before u replied ;-) )

Maybe I did or maybe I meant the Polish equivalent ;)

And did you mean think or tihnk???  Touché Mon Amie

personaly i use the proper jubilee clips. They work fine unless you have a decent ridge on the pipe, then again unless you have a decent ridge (bead) you screwed.
I work on car not language :)

Heh I don\'t take everything personally!  I was being sarcastic! :p

I just thought it was funny that the email that came through had you correcting my spelling and you\'d spelt a word wrong too!  Unfortunately you\'d corrected it before I had checked the post was different from the email version.  lol  :chat

Jubilee clips have their place but surely not on pipes that are subject to high levels of pressure???  If you are spending the money on the Samco Hosing why not spend an extra £1 per clip and get something that is going to look after the hoses (it doesn\'t pinch them as it tightens up) and is probably going to last longer since the worms on the jubilee clips are prone to failure.

I do agree though the bead is essential.....mine had been chopped off by the person that fitted it!

Like I said, it wasnt \'a word\' u spelt wrong - it was a specific brand name u were recommending to some one one - i thought it I was being helpful...

Anyways, its xmas (<- acceptable abbreviation?) - I\'m off to get another Stelllllwor Artwoir :D

Edit: Wiggins clamps are the **** if u really want to go the whole hog! (£\'s)

Try rally design for clamps. They are the daddies for hoses, boost and VAC alike - they sell everything motorsport/ rally orientated. Seriously!
