There was a big write up on this on the US forum quite a while ago about the Closing edge v\'s Side seal. Your Quite right it needs to be done but its well documented as there was lots of people (including me) who did\'nt do it and paid for it.

Not the Best pic, but that Big extended Port (By ITO the guy who pointed me in the right direction a while back) Just shows how the Closing edge should Look.

This one shows how the Bridge closing edge is being worked after the Milling. (Bit hard to see)

I have recently pulled an engine by a specialist who has done some "Street" porting and the side seals have been damaged by not being careful of the leading edge hitting the top of the ports,no chamfering.Of course depending on what how the port is you don\'t allway\'s need to chamfer, but in this case it should have been done.
The leading edge of the side seal in a bridge port can be completely protected by making sure that it runs on the bridge.

Thanks guys,  anyone know the sort of power loss i can expect by using a TII block over an REW or RE by doing the same port work to it.
400 BHP - 650 KG\'s = 616 BHP Per Ton of Rotary Power

That\'s the way to do it! :Thumbsup!
