Wheel specs are to do with width and offset, so if you have the same width wheels with ET35 offset, they will look like the pics on Harris\' post. How far they stick out (or in) the arches is to do with offset, so if you added 15mm spacers to your ET35 wheels, you would essentially have ET20 wheels (as I understand it), so they would stick out further - I guess what harris is saying is that you could do it, but would suffer from rubbing on steering lock and over bumps.

My burnout kit is being test-fitted this week, and when I am back from the US I will be able to get the measure out to see exactly what I am playing with. Mine are ET38mm with 8.5 front and 9.5 rear, so I am expecting to go for 15mm spacers to get it down to ET23 but will be pushing it from what I can see, so may end up with 10mm.

I have Tein Flex coilovers at default height, which is lower than stock, but I figure I can tweak this once the kit is on and wheels spaced.

Anyhoo, will let you know the results once I see (I\'ll post some pics too).

Cheers, Craig

hi orange. my wheels are 9.5" rear 8.5" front both 18" running 225 front and 255 rear tyres. both have et35 offset. rex is lowered approx 2". i have front inner arch rub on full lock. where the outside edge of tires turn in.

the lower your et, ie et25, will push wheels out further, bear in mind, will increase inner arch rub on lock..

personally i`m happy with how mine sits. maybe push the rears out a bit more than front.. hmmmm
if i had 8 hour to cut down a tree. i`d spend 6 sharpening the axe

cheers harris. i have the same size wheels on mine at the moment with the standard arches and the batter the living crap out of the arches and even the front bumper, i have cut away the plastic trim so that it doesnt touch for now so i am hoping with the wider arches they wont rub. When you put the arches on what did you attach the plastic inner arches too?

if i remember correctly we fixed it to all the existing mounting points. i`ll check tonight, are you bonding and filling rear arch`s or leaving showing bolts

I\'m running 18x9" ET18 front and 18x10" ET22 on the back, if your down my neck of the woods feel free to drop by to see how they\'d fit under your arches (will want them back though)!

I had my arches cut and rolled, but they are slightly different to yours.
Cheers

Having just looked at the KS Auto website, the text I could make out states the following for their black demo car you see all the pics from;

WEDS BVILLENS T8S
18F 9.0J+6
19R 10.0J+6

GOODYEAR REVSPEC
215/40 R18
235/35 R19

+6 !!! Blimey.... Looks like they have cut down the lower lip section of the front and rear arches too, as the kit has a good 2cm lip that would preclude you from getting the same look as the demo car.

Saw my test fit today, have a few questions over how to handle blending the rear arch extensions, but the quality looks sweet overall.

I live in South Woodham Ferrers, Chelmsford, Essex.
I had to cut away some of the front inner plastic rain guards too to stop the tires rubbing on full lock. although the benefit is the air passing through oil coolers can go around to the brakes too. Just don\'t go too crazy otherwise driving in the rain will give you a very dirty engine bay - that has to be the worst area to clean without shredding your hands!!

bloody hell i see what you mean those wheels must be about 12" wide lol

craigr

No, they are only 10", but with a 235 tyre, it pulls the sidewalls in dramatically. No wonder they\'ve managed to get the arches within a credit card of the tyres!

Initial-D

I thought you\'d all like it ;)
Some proper stretched tires!
