When I did mine I drained out all of the coolant (from the radiator and the block) and filled it up with distilled water.  Started her up and left her run up to temperature, shut her off and then drained out all of the water (from the radiator and the block again).  Then I just filled her up with fresh coolant.  I used Motul Inugel Optimal from Opie Oils as it\'s pre mixed and meant to be good.  It\'s expensive though and probably excessive when some simpler stuff would do.
