Off to see the Wizard!

As in Tim at RX motors, Taking my mate (also Tim) to pick up his car after rebuild (FD3,)
The car had only done 37K (not a lot) when water seals failed, just goes to show that rotaries are reliable mechanically, but you never know how much corrosion inhibitor /antifreeze has been used in the cooling system over the last 13 or so years, if any! anyway talk about excited! He will be well pleased to be driving it again, even slowly! And the rebuild done pretty quick all things considered, its only a couple of weeks since we towed the car to RX  on a trailer. Anyway I’ll let Tim introduce himself when his PC is up and running. I’m sure he will be pleased with his new engine. The car is of course the fastest colour!

When are you going? I\'m hoping to go down on saturday for a health checkup!

[ro284]

Not sure Nik, may be later tomorrow tea time, or on Saturday (best for me) when you say Heath check! have you got a problem? or you having it tuned up a bit, plugs or something or service? all iv\'e done with mine is plugs + fluid changes so far, makes me wonder what else i should do mate,

I want him to check mine over, as i\'m getting inconsistent knock values. Tim said to me he wasn\'t sure if he was going to be around on saturday yet - I shall be confirming with him tomorrow.

I\'d like a compression test, expert opinion on the assembly, etc.

Big day tomorow for mate Tim, :Thumbs-up we are going to pick his car up in the afternoon, apparently it had a problem with the rad as well, but all fixed now! will find out the details and £££ then
