Silicone vs Neoprene vs Viton

Quite an interesting experiment? Just found it as they\'re doing a BB on viton hoses for the FD and trying to decide if it\'d be cheaper to get it over there or here...

Not completely scientific though: the hoses on an RX-7, while they do take oil, it will not be imersed in oil at those temperatures for the entirety of their operational lives. Silicone hose can stand up to small amounts of oil - however, it\'s not designed to carry oil on a permanent basis.
