Hello mate. Im looking at these side repeaters and being as you have had a probe before, do you reckon these would fit the fd? http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/FORD-Probe-Side-Repeaters-Crystal-Clear-BRAND-NEW_W0QQitemZ300049347424QQihZ020QQcategoryZ21654QQssPageNameZWDVWQQrdZ1QQcmdZViewItem?hash=item300049347424#ebayphotohosting

Im not to keen on the regular standard ones on ebay available for the fd and the seller has stated it will fit the fd but i just wanted to double check before splashing out

They should be exactly the same fitting. These aren\'t the ebay ones I got as mine cost £14.99 and were just clear, not crystal....go for it, mine are fine and no offence to Newera but it beats paying £70/pair for theirs ;)

Mine are this sort:

Cheers for the advice mate. They fit perfect

MillSpeed

Did you get the actual ones in the first link? They look gert lush.

RobbieRX-7

Yeah i got the ones in the first link. Cost just under £16 and they fit perfect with no messing around.

AtomicRex

are they just the lens.....or does it include the electrics as well?

RobbieRX-7

All you get is 2 lenses and 2 amber bulbs. The electric plug plugs into the back of the lens just like the stock orange lens. It is exactly the same size all round as the stock orange lens

Thats a good find Robbie, i bought some supposedly for a ford probe and Mazda. the bulb holders were wrong, didnt fit my rex and the plastic spring broke! waste of money!so i gave up,  but these look much better,

Just ordered some, nice find Robbie.
PS if I have any issues fitting them can I pop up the rabbit run and let you do it :Laugh

RobbieRX-7

Yeah no probs mate. Shouldn\'t have any probs though.Just push one side of the orange lens to the right or left and it pops out the wing then Just push-twist the electrical connector with amber bulb into the back of the crystal lens and pop it back in the wing, 30second job. put some grease on the bulb contacts to stop corrosion

Glad they fitted matey :) I also got some silvered bulbs for mine so they look properly clear now...no silly orange.
