Can anybody who\'s using or knows a bit about nitrous in a rotary give me some info

Basically I built a CO2 IC spray system last year for the stock IC , now I have a big shiney v mount and don\'t think I\'ll see the same benefit so was thinking of converting it to a nitrous system , what I want to know is what it the largest shot an engine with standard 2mm seals can take , don\'t want to take it to the limit but its handy to know were the limit is

Also can you run nitrous and WI at the same time or would you get great chunks of ice flying into the engine :Hammer

Speak to Andy K on here mate. He is running a 65 shot safely on progressive controller

It makes more sense not to run water and nitrous at once really.

The nitrous does so much better a job of cooling the intake charge down that potentially its colder than the water you are adding anyway.

I would just put a relay on the nitrous kit so that when the nitrous is firing it cuts off the water.

I\'ve been doing a bit of a refresher on nitrous and I\'m starting to move away from the nitrous idea , after all it only takes one faulty solenoid and pop no more engine

Another thing I was concerned about was to do with something I read about WI a while back , the guy who did this is on this forum ( can\'t remember his name ) he noticed that more water entered the rear rotor due to the atomised water being heavier than the air so it was thrown to the outside of the inlet tract as it came round the final bend . i wondered if this would also be true of the fuel in a nitrous/fuel mix , if so it would result in the front rotor being lean and the rear being rich . One possible solution to this may be to inject directly into the throttle body

One solenoid going pop is no different to an injector clogging up on a turbo motor TBH

Personally ive used nitrous for years (on 4 strokes) and never had a solenoid fail, but then i only use Wizards of nos kits which are in a totally different league for quality of solenoid to the american kits a lot of people use.
