News from the 2003 AGM.

Many thanks to all who attended today,

Four main things from today\'s AGM , firstly the announcement of //www.southernrotors.com as a local area MRC \'chapter\' this will give rotary enthusiasts living in the south and southwest of England an opportunity to communicate with each other \'locally to organise pub meets etc and is seen by MRC as being a way of increasing personal contact for that areas MRC members and in time it is hoped that other areas will form their own local forums and hopefully in time the same will happen in other countries under the umbrella of MRC.

The second is to put forward the possability of a trip going to the Isle of Man next summer for a couple of days to take advantage of the lack of speed limits on the Island, the suggestion is that the club possibly go with the MX-5 club.

The third is that we now explore on line membership for new and existing members. It was discussed and agreed to increase membership fees as follows: £18 for existing members renewals and £20 for new members to take effect from the 1st January 2004.

And the fourth the announcement that due to the preliminary work carried out by Carl Hayward, Rotorstock will not only take place but will also incorporate an exciting Drag Racing Championship at Shakespeare County Raceway which will help fund the event by attracting spectators to the meeting .
