Hi new rx7 in the paint shop, comments please

Hi everyone i havent been on the rx7 scene for long i bought it about 3 months ago but it has been in the spray shop for the last 6 weeks, hoping to get it back this weekend all kitted up. Anyway i have just bought some new bits for it so it would be great to know what you all think about it?
The car is being sprayed in pearl lamborghini orange with the full vanquish kit on it also tinted windows new seats and harnesses.
Cant wait to get to all the shows.

Did you buy that 7 from a lad in chester? I came so close to buying that car, really nice example. Personally I can\'t stand body kits, but that colour is pretty cool.

Hiya mate yeah i did, he said somebody else came to look at it and was interested. Did you get one in the end then? what put you off this one?

I already had a black 7 when I went to look at this one. It was the low mileage that attracted me. I was planning to buy this one and flog my black one but in the end decided it was just a bit too much hassle and I din\'t want to end up being stuck with two FD\'s. Only thing I did notice was that she seemed a little bit sluggish, it might just have been me but I thought if it\'s got secondary turbo problems I should probably stick with my other rex. Better the devil you know than the devil you don\'t. Other than that, car was an absolute steal. How\'s she running now out of interest?

Yeah i know what you mean it did have that problem when i bought it, some times it kicked in and other times it didnt. I took it to WGT it cost £400 for a new air pump but it runs great now. It was a bit tatty but i got it for £3400 in the end so i thought i was worth it as i was going to spend money on one anyway. i love it its so much fun, whats your FD like?

its not mine it belongs to a mate under the name of tyson007.
it is a custom colour he mixed up.  just seems pretty simular to me, even the wheels.  i am sure it must be coincidence though :rollin

It\'s not bad, a bit rough round the edges but the engine seems strong enough. I bought it nearly three years ago when the FD market was much much healthier for £5800, at the time it was a bit of a bargain! I put the car in the garage as soon as I got it with the intention of tarting it up and it\'s stayed there ever since, I just haven\'t had the time to finish it. Such a waste. Oh well, at least I\'m not putting any mileage on it...just about the only positive thing about the situation!

p.s perhaps you should get some of the Mania rims as well :Thumbs-up

it is orange according to the v5

funnily enough i was about to buy some used 19inch mania rims on ebay last week as winter wheels.... but they were the 5 spoke ones :p
