Hi Dave,
Surely mpg on a fd is not gonna be much worse than a supercharge mx5 :)

Cough, cough, splutter, splutter
With smaller nose pulley and big bosot crank pulely I get about 23 mpg around town in my mx-5 and about 25-28 on the motorways.  I get 18 from my FD3 while motorway cruising.

Oh and Dave, :wave

scooby_si

oi John u can call me sir still lol
Seriously thou ;) dont let Johns girly driving put u off as he said he took me for a spin & i could still sense there was plenty of power there even when John was ambling along putting his lippy on  lmao no only kidding the RX7 is certainly a fruity motor i would certainly advise having a go in one to make yer mind up :D I had a quick raz in one of Hurley engineerings FD\'s after John seduced me, easy now ladies :o, & while it did bring to light a problem of me having lanky legs which dont fit too easy in the 3rd gen (sorted now as small steering wheel & if necessary seat adjustments lined up for when car arrives.......;)) but all i can say tiz a lush car & just wot i\'m looking for, ie fast as u no wot & a bit different from me old scooby as i fancied a change :D Just trying to learn restraint so i dont bend it when collecting in January which inevitably means not best weather for no traction control & mucho rear wheel BHP ;) But sounds like u have sum rear wheel drive experiance whereas it\'ll be my 1st
Si (+ death wish )
PS yeah get one need more locals for when i start sum midlands RX7 meets in the new year
