Well hopefully my bits from Pip will be with me on Saturday, so the challenge is....

Replumb the entire vacuum system (its off the car at the min), reinstall the Y pipe, reinstall the top lot on the IM and the TB, air feeds etc, reinstall the exhaust and then start the bunny....

Its been 18 months since she was last run.... I\'m scared but super excited as well :)

What other prep should I do before starting her?  I\'m thinking of pulling the plugs and putting a little bit of oil on the rotor seals, getting a few litres of optimax and making sure the oil is level... anything else?

if she hasnt been run for that long, you could turn it over with the egi or fuel pump fuse or relay out to build up oil pressure.
400 BHP - 650 KG\'s = 616 BHP Per Ton of Rotary Power

That\'s the way to do it! :Thumbsup!

Dave, how much did you end up paying for the vacu pipes for the rats nest from pip?

I was thinking about that, on a piston car I\'d just disconnect the dizzy, but that would cause this rotary thing to flood  (I absolutely love these cars and I\'m not been sarcastic, the qwerkyness is just awesome and damn right unique!)

I\'m hoping theres nothing I\'ve forgotten :)

One2watch - I\'ve not had a quote from Pip on the vacu pipe as I bought this from:

Hose Direct Ltd
Unit 2-3, Brunel Park, Blyth Rd, Harworth, Doncaster, South Yorkshire DN11 8NE
Tel: 01302 746969
Classification:
Hose Manufacturers

It was £62 delivered.

I\'m still waiting on the price of the nest as the bits are being shipped tomorrow, reworx quoted £40 for everything (gaskgets and rats nest, no pipes though), but Pips gang got back to me a little quicker ;)

Jit

what did 62 squid delivered buy you? (ie how much of what mm)

Cheers :)

IIRC 40\' of 4mm and 15\' of 6mm in red :)

Sadly the postie was uber late today so I didn\'t get as far as I\'d have liked too.  Anyway, finished rats nest:

The rats nest that Pip sent me had the piping for the \'middle\' solenoid, so to avoid confusion when I put it back in the car, I capped it all off :)
