Hi All,

Do\'s anybody have any Info on these or have one on there fc ?

Looked them up on RX7Club.com apparently they rattle like mad
Also would they overload the stock system i.e Clutch hydraulics etc

I believe the twin plate clutch on my FD is a OS Giken one, and yes they do rattle like made and are either on or off quite harsh in traffic :spank

I used to have one, They only make a rattle when the clutch peddle is down.

Mine was not bad other than the noise,I\'d have to say of the Clutches i\'ve had it was one of the better balanced if you learn to take it out of gear at lights and let the clutch out its very liveable.

Mine was a unsprung twin plate and i was expecting it to be realy on/off (Harsh) but it was\'nt as bad as a six puck single plate i had before it.

You can still roll the clutch on hill starts etc (with a bit of practice) but the big thing is the Clutch peddle is quite light unlike a big single plate where you need to be able to press 500lbs to push it down.

There are lots of second hand ones about becouse of the noise (its not somthing you want to hear if your selling your car) but just make sure there is over 3mm on the plates and there is no Cracks in the Flywheel/Center plate. OS Clutches are fully rebuildable but its better to get a good one to start with.

The funny thing is if you fit one give it a month and i garantee you will have a wek where you do nothing but stall it at lights :) i realy tried to get it right at first and then when you forget about it thats when it happens :)
