After much time head/ar5e scratching i finally fixed me boost problem. :King  The actuator arm was too long and letting the pressure leak to the second turbo. Took of the actuator, shortened it by 1mm and now everything works fine! Got rust in my eye and scratched me eyelid doing it but hey, i can still see and my car drives like a monster again! :Thumbs-up :Party
Many thanks to everyone who gave my advise and help. :Thumbs-up :burnout

Uhm....How did the actuator arm just happen to get too long...and how an earth did you spot that????....Well done though.

How easy is it to check?????
FD or not FD? that is the question.

read somewhere on the web about a guy who had exactly the same probs as me. Not sure how or why the arm was too long but the prob was there when i got the car. Dont know how to check for it but i had tried everything else and thinking about it, it made perfect sense as boost on the 2nd never failed. So i had to be building enough pressure from the first.

what were the symptons of your boost problem?

Bobbit

was not getting more than 6/7psi on the first turbo. Got no boost before 2500 rpm,  only got 5psi at 3000rpm and then the boost increased (sometimes) to 6/7 psi by 4000, then at 4500 me 2nd tubby kicked in without fail.
I\'d checked all me hoses, done the rats nest, tried a new actuator (set it to the same lenght as me onld one!) and checked all the valves. Feel like a policeman after all me investigations! Then i read a website (cant remember which one :2Mad ) and tried this fix. I think it needs a little fine tuning (poss 0.5mm shorter) but i\'m chuffed to bits for now. :driving
