New Wheels - Need to know tyre sizes

Just bought some new alloys

18 x 8.5 Front
18 x 9.5 Rear

The car is lowered by 40mm

What profile tyres would i need?? anyone else got the same set-up??

Nice easy one

Go 235/40 x 18 on the front and 265/35 x 18 on the rear.

Lots of people run this setup on 18\'s, so no worries there.

The crucial thing is the offset of the wheels, any ideas?

ummmmmmmmmmmmmm i dunno was assured they would fit lol

says on website offset 30.

If you dont keep the overall diameter the same as when it was on 16 your speedo will all be out.

You might get a bit of rubbage with the inner liner, particularly when turning tightly? 40mm is a fairly big drop!

I have been chasing Ferodo every week for my order, they tell me they are waiting for back plates. Will chase again on Monday.
