I am getting some water in at the front corner passenger side.  Roof has no holes - and the seals were renewed not long ago.

Any ideas on where to look ?  :3Confused

Carpet stinks now - might have to drill some drainage holes  :Hammer

I hate to say it but i\'ve yet to see a T2 Vert with a water tight roof.

My Vert leaked the most from the top of the A post, it always used to drip on me from the top of the small window in the door(not sure what there called :))

It also used to leak at the back edge of the Door window, i found this soaked the carpet behind the seats, but this only leaked when the car was sat for a while.

I found the best solution was to buy a cover from Halfords and put it on when the car was not being used, its a bit of a pain to do but does help.

Also wet vac the carpet and get as much of the water out as poss

Yep - did that - I was amazed at how much and how filthy the water was !

I get a little bit coming in when the rain is really hard on the drivers side, but the passenger side leak has just become very bad suddenly.  I can\'t trace it to anything in partcular.  I\'m just concerned, as that\'s where the ECU lives  :(

The cover idea sounds like a good one.  Cheers.  :cheers

When you replaced your seals did you use a mastic type sealer inside the seal itself?

When i replaced mine i asked for all the seals and clips etc and when i picked this kit up from the dealer they gave me a tube of sealer and when i inquired what it was for they said on some verts the water finds its way under the seal its self and will run down inside it.

Ooh errr - I didn\'t get any mastic - just the tacky glue that came on seals themselves - which looks a little like the black mastic stuff.

Looks like you might be on to something there.   :)

I will have to see if I can peel it back just a little, and dab a bit of goo in there.

Nice one Mr. G

OK,

Today\'s thunderstorm has let me see where the water is coming from !

It\'s coming out of the little cup shaped bit at the end of the A beam.  Seems that the rubber strip here is hollow, and the water can\'t get out quick enough - in fact, I can\'t actually see where it\'s supposed to come out from.  :3Confused

Has anyone got a picture or description of what the bottom end is supposed to look like - where the plastic kick boards go across the bottom of the door frame ? (I have a theory that I\'ve pinch this off maybe, so the hollow rubber seal fills up and then pi$$es out the top)

Need to get this sorted, as I don\'t want a passenger side swimming pool - plus my ECU is not waterproof ! ;)
