help with water leak

i think ive found my leak it seems to be comming from the rear rotor housing near the sump



inside the red circle can anybody tell me how to go about getting this sorted is it an engine out job?

Don\'t quote me on this one Andy but if the rear housing/plates are similar to the Cosmo one just slightly above where you circled there\'s a water temp sensor. It could well just be a case of removing wrapping the threads with ptfe tape and refitting. One of the FD boys should be able to tell you if the 13brew has a water temp sensor there.

If its on the right of the engine bay take the elbow off and have a look at the coolant lines going into the back of the throttle body. Could be a bad pipe on these Theres a small 90deg hose at the bottom going up toward the throttle body !

radiator hoses:

N3A1-15-186 upper radiator hose

turbo coolant hoses:
N3A1-13-536 turbo coolant hose #1
N3A1-13-54X turbo coolant hose #2

AST hoses:
N3A1-15-380C AST to overflow bottle
N3A1-15-184A AST to radiator
N3A1-15-183 AST to coolant neck

throttle body hoses:
N3A1-13-681A upper throttle body
N3A1-13-691B lower throttle body
N3a1-13-692A water pump housing to hard line (behind alternator)

heater hoses:
FD01-61-213B block to firewall hard line (driver side)
FD01-61-212A heater core at firewall
FD01-61-214A water pump housing to hardline (passenger side)
FD01-61-211A hardline to heater core (passenger side)
