Got the power FC through the other day and fitted straight away that night. Everything seems to be fine apart from the Knock reading is up too 140ish. Now i\'m guessing it\'s a faulty sensor after reading some other threads, so have ordered a 2nd hand one from jimmys.

But before i start pulling things apart thought i\'d find out what else could cause this.

A little summary of the car (\'93 FD) - engine was rebuilt Aug \'04 and have had plugs changed 2wks ago (but couldn\'t get rear lower spark plug out, so old one still in it, didn\'t want to risk snaping it off in there(will be out soon)). The Inj duty has not gone above 85% ever and it rarely goes above 60% in normal running. I\'ve gone back to running stock boost and the AVCR is turned off, have free flow de\'cat system and induction kit.

Also the idle is very rough even after running the intial setup twice.

Any advise would be great,

Cheers Stu

P.S

Also if anyone could tell me how to replace knock sensor (diagram) that would be great too.

replacing the knock sensor is easy once you can get to a. the sensor and b. the connector for it...

the connector for the knock sensor is under the IM around the rats nest somewhere. The sensor itself should be above the Top sprak plug on the Front Rotor. It looks like a really big hex nut.....and youll prolly need something like a 22mm or 24mm to remove it....youll have to follow the wire to find the connector for it....
