big difference between the UK and OZ (well most of it)  ... the weather ! if we had a drag strip open that much in the UK it would be rained off every other week.  And if you notice drag racing is big in the USA but only really in the warmer drier areas.

Lee - I started off with drag racing, absolutely loved it, still do. Nothing like going out to a meeting with 5000, 10000 people all watching you go down the strip.  Move through the staging lanes, do the big burnout, go for it on the run.

Some people say there isn\'t any skill to it, but believe me there is!

Aye, you wont find me slagging it off or saying theres no skill.  I know it better than that.  I started off attending race circuits and racing karts though.  I like tracks

Its all stupidly expensive though

Hi

Here are some pictures from a day out at Avon park, With Gary RX7 (I hope there are the ones you meant Carl;))

Gary was having real Problems getting the car off the Line with it either spinning or bogging down. It looked slow untill about Half way down the track, then it really started to go.

I took the Pictures and i hope to be at rotorstock (if any ones heard of that around here (silly me) And will be taking the pictuers for the web site hopefuly.
