Hi there,

Whos got the fastest rpm spool time (until turbo is fully spooled) for a single turbo conversion on an RX7 FD, and what power do you make?

Just curious... ;)

I think some of the smaller singles spool at around 3k, the bigger ones between 4-5.5k :)

I start spooling at around 2.5K hit full boost at 3.8K making 450 at wheels

to4s street port, spooling 2200 , 1 bar boost by 3100 ,was told when i brought it was making 350 at wheels 1.2bar.BUT i`ll wait till i get it on rollers to back that claim. does that sound about right??
if i had 8 hour to cut down a tree. i`d spend 6 sharpening the axe

I would guess that either the T04e model or a TD06 turbo would be the quickest to spool up, as they are some of the smallest that you would want as a single.

Also the amount of porting changes the way a turbo will spool up.
