What is the largest and widest wheel you can fit on a fd?

I have seen 20\'s but it handled like a dog, dont go bigger than 18\'s if you want to keep her handling. Generally 265 on the rear but have seen 285. depends on shape of tyre wall.

What size/offset did you have in mind ?

You can fit lots of different sizes up to 20\'s on an FD but fitment depends not only on diameter but also offset and vehicle height.

One thing I can tell you is don\'t fit anything bigger that 17\'\'s if you still want your car to handle as Mazda intended as bigger diameter wheels will alter your geometry

Hope this helps.

2 of the fastest nurburg ring times in an fd were done on 17"(7:5? mins) & 18"(8:3? mins), so Id say either of those as a max wheel size, they obviously have more mods than just bigger wheels to make the car handle better than stock, both are lowered but not stupidly low. Will really depend on what you have in mind.

Cheers  boys. I dont intend lowering the car so she will be standerd height, its a set of 18" i fancy. Any idea what off set and width will sit comfortably with this set up?
