Anyone any thoughts on what temp I should set the warning buzzer on my Defi gauge?

It\'s preset to 100oC which is too low.

Cheers!

Paul.

I personnally would say about 105. In normal driving conditions you shouldn\'t see temps that high (The fans should have come on by then). The coolant will boil at 129 degrees if thats any help!

Ok well i\'ll set it a that and see what happens. Cheers!

depends what temp u have set for the fans to come on..mine is set to 94deg so warning of 100 wld be good as it wld warn that fans are not working

I\'ve not messed with the fans so they might be set to standard. I\'ve moved it to 105 and it seems to sit around 85 for most of the time.

85 is good. That\'s what it\'s meant to be. Obviously, bimbling around town for longer periods will mean those temps rise, but as long as they come back down again (When the fans come on at about 100) then you\'ll have nothing to worry about.
