Im just about ready to pull the engine out, is it best or easiest to remove tranmission at the same time, or just release the clutch, i really want the least labour intensive or difficult way, im getting a bit old for this lol.
Lead me not into temptation, I can find it myself...
But i can always do with some help now due to, my advancing years!

I would guess if you want the easiet way, it\'s to remove it with the gearbox - but be careful as obviously the whole assembly is a lot longer. Basically, it saves you having to undo the bolts around the bell housing which for a couple of them, can be a bit of a pain.

Not only the bell housing but the clutch as well, its a pull type so MUST be disconnected before disconnecting the bell housing and engine. I removed mine without the gearbox, easier to manouver out of the engine bay...

I removed mine following the rotaryaviation video so did it without the gearbox

No reason why it can\'t be done with gearbox though. That\'s how you I did my westfield - in fact it\'s the only way you can do westfields (Unless it\'s bike engined)

It\'s easier to disconnect the gearbox and clutch. Just undo the bolts around the bell housing. You\'ll have to remove the starter motor too from underneath to get to the other bolt. You\'ll need a 14mm spanner i think.
