I can\'t believe the difference.  I\'m with AON (2yrs) on a daily driver policy and have been paying £690.00 per year on a standard X type FD Auto import.
I,m having an Apexi pfc, Apexi intake and exhaust fitted also I have changed the wheels to 17".  On speaking to them they wanted £840 per year.
This is the good bit,  I phoned A.Plan who quoted on everything as above £540. but restricted to 9000 per year (I only do about 5000 anyway)

So not hard to guess who gets my business this year.

Did you tell them that you are a MRC member as they are supposed to be doing members preferential rates, maybe worth a try.

Hi Gary,
Yes, I spoke to Adam at AON.  He could not match the A-Plan quote.  He also told me that AON are phasing out daily driver policies on FD\'s over 10yrs old, but will continue with Classic policies for them.

Just had an even better quote from direct line.  All mods declared, covered for to and from work, 6000 miles per year.  Â£516.60 fully comp.  Well worth checking about.
