How do you do it? haynes, as per usual are as usefull as a chocolate firegard.
5 ATDC Leading, 20ATDC trailing right? its a 1988 unit.
Do you litterally time each coil using either HT lead as a sender? Also, my timing marks arent clear.......in fact i beleive the pulley may have been put on the wrong way when two of the pulleys were removed....

Have you tried cleaning up the pulley? The marks are normally pretty hard wearing.

right well i have found the marks......one about an inch from t\'other. Whats the firing order? just so i can get the approximate location of TDC on the dizzy arm before tuning it properly.....
Am i correct with the figures? i have just been told that you can run up to 26 degrees for a little more pep?????

also, how the hell does the ignition system work? its got amplifiers, a rotor arm and an ECU....im totally baffled!

Brett

Which year/spec 13B is it you are running?  I\'ve not heard of running 26deg before?  I think you would be best to have a chat with a tuner who would know more!

Run at 20 Degrees advance. That is the safest starting point for fixed timing.
If you have vacuum and mechanical advance still then rev the engine to 6000 rpm and set timing to 20 degrees of advance at that RPM.
