... and I can have a Zen fishpond in the space of the passenger seat  :2eek.

I had to pull the passenger seat out so I could run the cables for the sub under the carpet. Which was when I found this harmless looking drip:

After I pulled up the carpet, it didn\'t look much better:

And the underlay looks distinctly wet as well:

So I\'ve got about half the interior of the car cluttering up the living room at the moment and the carpet propped up so it can dry out. Used a space heater in the car for a couple of hours which helped but the underlay is still wet...

I guess that\'ll be another thing for RoTechniks to look at when the car goes in for a roof replacement. Looks like the seal on the \'hard\' part of the roof isn\'t sealing properly anymore. Not exactly a happy bunny, me. Nor is my wallet  :eek

Oh, I know that. I\'m mostly annoyed with myself that I\'ve done it again - bought a supposedly good car and two weeks later (literally in this case) the living room starts filling up with car parts.

Here we go again  :D

oh dear, I feel sorry for you mate. I think there is a valuable lesson for all cabriolet owners here - do you know where abouts it was letting in water?
-Did you see any drips from the window seals
-are the "drain pockets" behind the doors blocked?
-are there any rips in the roof?

Yep, although I have a hard time reproducing them now using a bucket. About the middle of the top door seal. There is absolutely no visible reason for that as the seal there is intact, no rips and tears.

Not from what I can tell. Plus, the water is under the front seat, the drain pocket area is dry.

None that aren\'t Ducktaped over  :D. It\'s go the usual rips in the flexible section, which is why it\'s going back to RoTechniks to get that section replaced. That\'s already arranged so they may as well have a look at the leak while it\'s there.
