Hello

I have been messing surround with a design for some FD dials, only started on the Speedo for now I am going get some stainless/carbon ones made up in the end.
What you see in black/blue will be cut out and some form of backing used behind, colour yet to be decided.
As you can probably see from the pic I am using a rotor shape around the centre hole which I quite liked toped with a Mazda logo, simple
I was wondering if I could get some design input idea\'s from people, like what logos should I use, keep KPH or remove it, use Mazda badge.

Oh and hopefully get a few questions answered.

RX7 logo, any one have a scan of the RX7 on the back of the car or know what font is used.

Anyway here is a pic of what I have been doing for the last hour

Any and all feedback welcome I know people have personal likes and dislikes but I will get idea\'s comming back which I may not of thought of.

Thanks

Eddie

SImple but looked nice in the console.

The VTEC logo had a light behind it which I made to light up when the vtec was engaged:) I amy do somthing like this for the turbo\'s on the 7.

Kron

I had a quick go at something...

I like it but for practical reasons its not ideal inthe posistion it is in, reason is your speedo needle will remove most of the rx and half the rotor, this is the only reason I centralised the rotor, looks good though adn may just need shifting up to clear the needle I shall give it a try.

These look great mate, look forward to seeing the finished article

Been messing around again,

I like the rotated rotor in the previuous image from Kron thanks for that mate so gave it a try but centralised the rotor so the needle does not block out half the image.

Didn\'t the spirit R have something like Kron\'s pic? (not saying you copied it BTW  :InLove  )
I\'ll see if I can dig out a pic.. yes found a v. v. small pic in the Brian Ellis book p193, too small to scan, can just make out some sort of logo, possibly like an old RX7-on-a-rotor design (like a first gen) at about 5 o\'clock on the face of the tacho
