Gman

I\'ve managed to polish one and its come out like yours so quite happy.  Still haveing issues with a couple of bolts and now realise i need to remove the valves to separate the rims for painting.

J.j.

Those wheels look nice.
How did you do that?
Tried polishing my wheels with some metal polish, didnt make any difference what so ever   :Hammer

G man how much work is it to split the wheels I\'m going to do mine asap, also what are you going to use to seal it?

Are you going to paint the centre\'s yourself?

Jodypamplin

Undo every bolt mate , takes about 20 mins assuming they are not too tough ...

good luck

Gman

Yeah, remove every bolt and the two strips of metal which some of the bolts go through and then the valves and they should come apart easily.  I intend to sand them down, prime and paint myself, then re bolt together and lacquer the newly polished section along with the newly painted parts.

Cool, My friends at the bodyshop are going to paint mine if I strip them and sand them down they are going to prime/paint/laquer mine for not much more than the paint and time would have cost.

Gman

nice to see Ian\'s old wheels scrubbed up so well, i remember when he got them carboned :-)

Jodypamplin

Very tidy Gman, its impressive to see how these wheels polish up after some hard work.  :Thumbs-up
