Boost problem.

When I was out (on a test track!! :p ) this morning I found the following symptoms..

In 3rd WOT, at about 7000rpm the boost completely died, shifted to 4th and was pulling up until around 6000rpm when the boost died briefly then kicked in again.

I slowed down a bit then booted it through 3rd and 4th again with very similar results.

Any suggestions???

Sounds like a pipe is collapsing.

I should add that I\'d just been through a car wash... would water be the culprit?? (sp!)
