I\'ve just got myself an electric oil pressure gauge and was wondering what the best way to mount the sender would be???

1) remove the stock sender unit, insert one of the brass T pieces and refit the stock sensor & the new one ( new one is fairly large so this could break the brass fitting!!!)

2) Same as 1. but fit a length of capilary pipe and mount the new sender to the bulkhead.

3) Remove the union bolt from the oil pipe below the filter & stock sender, drill and tap the head of the union, then refit it with the new sender attached.

Which would be the best option to go for?? I\'m thinking option 2 as I dont have to worry about the weight of the sender on any T piece or bolt????

What do you think guys,

Thanks for your help,

Jono
