just started to have a look at this cheap fc i got with blown engine.
the car has had a front mount on it at some time and has an hurley sticker on the rad cowling and the turbo looks big ! the downpipe is welded around the flange which makes me think this is no std turbo , it has a lamda sensor or exahst temp sensor welded into downpipe (large gold thing)
the car has profec b boost cntrl, blitz dv, straight through 3" exahust turbo back, fuel cut defender, hks filter and all the gauges.
i think its been running on greddy emanage piggy back, but the guy i bought the car of took it out.
what sort of power would this make with this large turbo?
the injectors on the highest fuel rail have bright red plastic on , are these std or not? on fd they are green
when i strip it down, i will inspect more but cant get time at the mo

If the injectors are a dark red colour, they are standard 550 injectors, power depends on what turbo is in there, what porting you are intending on having done to the engine, what ECU you intend on using, etc etc. Need more info! btw, if you want to get rid of the ptofec B I\'ll have it! -well no harm in trying eh? And the turbo for that matter lol!

im gonna port the engine mill rotors to 3mm and drill and dowell plates to housings. not sure what port sizes to do yet, carls gonna give me some ideas when i get the block into work.
the car is being stripped with roll cage going in, ally dash
i was thinking to make 350rwhp for track use with a spooly gt35r
not sure what ecu to use yet.  also im thinking a huge turbo to try for serious power for drag days aswell but that may be to laggy for the track with big power just lighting the wheels up at 4000rpm
the port size will decide
im thinking just build the motor back up ported and dowelled with the original set up thats in the car, then change turbo and ecu fueling and get the car mapped.
what sort of power u guys reckon with hks t51r and bridgeport with good fueling on the fc motor with mods above and will it be to laggy for track use
ive seen a hks t51r for £1300 what u reckon

sadgoth

not a T51KAI then? if it is, that is DIRT cheap!!! I\'d suggest a Microtech ECU, just because they are tried and tested on the FC over here, a Haltech is also a good option but no-one over here maps them!
