Looking at where to put my Ipod when its connected to my head unit, been looking at some of the universal phone holders that stick to the windscreen but i think they will be too far away for me to see the screen.  What do you guys use?

just a thought (don\'t have one as got MP3 on my PDA and head unit) - would it rest in the ashtray / armrest space?

I was thinking along the same lines, i have a spare belt clip i could butcher and attach to the top of the ashtray.  Just need to experiement if it would be in my way.

I bought some sticky velcro from a stationary shop and have used that to stabilise the GPS receiver (it bluetooths to the PDA which is in a cradle) on the top of the dash on my wife\'s car (one bit sticks on the car, one on the GPS: seems to work quite well if you don\'t mind a bit of velcro on your iPod and a bit on the car

Depending where you can feed the lead, might be good to put in the glove box? That\'s where mine was when I had an iPod adaptor. Will be in there on the rex too when I get a new headunit.

my kenwood mp3 adapter box sits in the glovebox, and my mp3 (a Rio) velcros to the tran tunnel over the fog light switch and between the rear heater switch and ecu switch. you dont really notice the tiny bit of velcro when you take the player out. i used the super strong stuff you get in woolworths so you only need a bit.

I have an Alpine unit, the KCA iPod adapter is hidden in the passenger footwell and the leads are routed behind the carpet and up into the glove box where the iPod sits, therefore you dont have to worry about it being on show.

I like the idea of mounting it on my centre console to the right of the gear stick.  As luuck would have it i have just painted my dash the same colour as my iPod.

I don\'t have one, i\'ve got a rio car headunit, only 40gb at the min though :)

Seriously though wouldn\'t a phone mount from halfords fit it ? Same idea as the powerfc !
