OK got the car started after flooding.

ive just done a full vac hose change.

let her warm up for 15-20 minutes last night, took her out boosted on first turb to make sure all was good, that was fin.

got on a straight bit of road floored it in 3rd, through first turbo, no probs hit transition ok (fairly sure i felt the dip in power) then i dont know if 2nd tub came on line, next thing i know there were three bangs which felt like they came from exhaust, so i backed off stariaght away.  i dont think this was fuel cut as ive had that before and dont remember last night having the jerky instant loss of power that brings.

im presuming its something ive done in the nest??

Also something to note....when i got back home looked under the bonnet and found water coming out of the pipe connected to the bottom of the throttle body, this was all aover the coils and the coil connectors...could this have momentarily shorted the elec connectord and the plugs not fired?  i.e. the three bangs were just backfires in the exhaust due to unburnt fuel??

Opinions on a postcard.

cheers

Nick
