Power Steering Pump where\'s the washer go..

Hi Folks, was fixing my power steering pump, got it all back together and in the car but there\'s a washer that should sit on the top under the pipe where it pumps the fluid out, not the recirc, it\'s just behind the pulley. The washer should sit either between the two nuts (nut/bolt type), or at the bottom of the second nut (where the spring is underneath), and i can\'t remember where it should go. Went to drive away with the washer at the bottom one and i peed power steering fluid all over the drive and the pulley belts  Now I don\'t know if i hadn\'t tightened it enough (there was a bit of give) or the washer should be between the two nuts. Haven\'t found anything in these rx7 pdfs for some reason, the pictures are normally quite helpful. Thanks
