Engine sizes and information; can anyone help?!

Im looking for some information for an upcoming project, and Im trying to do a little forward planning (I know, stupid eh?! )

I wondered if anyone can help me with some overall dimensions for a 12 or 13b engine; dimensions of a box which the basic lump, inlet, plus major ancilliaries (starter, alternator, etc) would fit inside...     Also, if anyone could give me rough positions of engine mounts relative to this box, that would be  :Thumbsup!

Im not too bothered about the trans, as I dont think Im going to carry this over.

If anyone has an engine out of their car and can run a tape measure over it for me, I would be greatful, I promise I will reveal all once I get all my material together ready to make a start

Not sure about the 13B, but the 12A is roughly 18 inches long from the back of the flywheel to the leading edge of the crank pulley (I\'ve only got the small part of the crank puley fitted), 13 inches wide and 15 inches deep. I\'ve got the bare block sat in my spare room if you need any specific measurements.
