I still get in a kerfuffle sometimes, are standard diffs limited slip, are all diffs limited slip in some respect. Are standard FD diffs viscous coupling...what is viscous coupling, lol, or point me to a good place to read im all googled out, been a long day (and for some reason i want to read about diffs:D)

Standard FD diffs are Torsion.

Not all diffs are limited slip.  You could have an open diff which just allows one wheel to spin.  On the other end of the scale you could weld it up so it would be locked all the time.  Youd only really do this for drift or drag though.

Might be an idea to look at how stuff works, itll probably explain it better than I will though I havnt read it
